The neurological alliance has been working together with the King’s fund and nine leading UK charities to develop a common view on what quality and cost-effective care should include. The publication ‘How to deliver high-quality, patient-centred, cost-effective care; consensus solutions from the voluntary sector’. It calls for co-ordinated care, supported self management and emotional, psychological and practical support, among other things. There is already significant interest in this document from the Government.
