Orthotics Panel

The British Polio Fellowship’s Orthotics Panel was set up to help the Trustees and Management to understand the central issues surrounding the poor provision of orthotics for members and to recommend actions the Fellowship can undertake to rectify issues.
The Panel members include health professionals and representatives from a variety of fields concerned with the end-to-end provision of the orthotics service.
The panel meets several times a year, normally in London.
The Terms of Reference and minutes of panel meetings are available on the website or in hard copy from Central Office. 
The Panel members are:

Mr Martin Harvey Podiatrist and representative of the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists
Ms Pam Jones Retired occupational therapist and British Polio Fellowship Trustee
Mr Gordon Lumb Orthotics Technician and Quality Assurance; member of the British Polio Fellowship
Ms Judith Bell Orthotiist and Vice Chair of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists
Mr Shane Nixon Technical and Product Advisor
Dr Sellaiah Sooriakumaran Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton, Representative of British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine
