The Expert Panel

Following a strategic review, Trustees agreed that a panel of people who are experts in their fields should be formed in order to help both Trustees and Management steer the organisation forward, advise on research and medical topics, generally underpin our work and broaden awareness of the Fellowship.

The group of ‘experts’ includes health professionals from a variety of fields that interact with people with polio, a researcher, people with polio, other bodies that have members with polio and other allied professionals form the health field. The panel Chairman is Sir Bert Massie, Chairman of the Disability Rights Commission who is also a member of the Fellowship.

The panel meet several times a year in London and are resourced by staff of the Fellowship.

The minutes of the panel meeting will be made available on the website and in hard copy from Central Office for those interested in its work. The terms of reference of the panel are also identified in the link below, as is the current composition of the panel. Any queries or concerns or possible projects for the panel should be directed to the Chief Executive at Central Office.

The British Polio Fellowship Expert Panel's hosted mailing list has kindly been donated by L-Soft and is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV® e-mail management software. For more information, click on the logo.
