Fundraising is a big part of what we do here at the British Polio Fellowship, from cakes sales, to sponsored walks, runs and even triathlons. Anything which you can think of, to help play your part in supporting those suffering from post-polio syndrome.
Below we have a list of events which we do here at the fellowship to help raise funds with the community. Have a look and see what you could take part in, or if you have an idea for a fundraising event which is not listed, contact us at the bottom of the page and we can see how we could help.
ASICS 10K London Run
One way in which you can help the British Polio Fellowship is through supporting us in our upcoming event this year with ASICS 10K London. We invite runners of all abilities to unite in one of the world's most inclusive and diverse cities to celebrate the things that bring us together. Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen circumstances of Covid-19, this event will not be running this year, however, we will be running next year. If you would like to participate in advance and join the charity in run for next year. Send us an email, in the ‘Contact us’ Section of our site for more details.
Watford FC Bucket Collection
Another way in which we help raise funds for the fellowship is through bucket donations with our local football team Watford FC. This is another fun way for us at the fellowship to get together and enjoy the spirit of football with our local team as well help raise funds for those suffering with PPS. If you are in the local area and happen to be in the area before or after the matches. Please donate generously.
Support those with PPS through our Partners
In addition to the active things which can be done with the fellowship to aid the fellowship through outdoor activities. There are also other ways in which you can help support those suffering from PPS. Many of our sponsors help support those who suffer from a range of disabilities. as well as helping these small businesses through this rough time of COVID-19 you would also be helping the British Polio Fellowship, as with each order which is made, a percentage is donated to us, which helps provide and support those with PPS.
