A charity supporting polio survivors across the UK, the British Polio Fellowship, has announced Jeremy Balfour MSP as its new Patron.


Jeremy Balfour MSP has accepted an invitation from the British Polio Fellowship to be a Patron and support its work.


Jeremy, a Scottish Conservative and Unionist politician, was born in Edinburgh and is a qualified solicitor. He has served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Lothian Region since 2016 and was re-elected in 2021.


In addition to his parliamentary duties, Jeremy holds several key roles within the Scottish Parliament. He is the Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Disability, Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Older People, Age and Ageing, and Vice-Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Volunteering.
